My artistic process is an ongoing conversation between my hands and what I am working on. There is something about the physical presence of an object and how we interact with them that is an impetus for me to make work. This one to one relationship we have to objects is like a choreographer and dancer, with both of us interchangeably playing both parts. We dictate where the object lies in space, while it dictates how we lie in space. This liminal space between object and body is where my creations flourish.  It is only after the deed is done that I begin to recognize the autonomy of my creations simultaneously as an artifact of my own and their own. The finished piece mirrors the simultaneous projection of human qualities onto objects and how they reflect back onto us.
